Green Ride Charter Services in Boulder has driving work available. We offer part-time and daily part-time year-round positions.

We are hiring for Work Crew Contracted Services.

We have year-round services available. 2.5-hours in the mornings and 2.5 hours in the afternoon -approximately 5:30am to 8:00 am and 2:30 to 5pm, Monday –Friday, split hours in a day. This pays $27.50 per hour. It can be regular work, or a couple of shifts a week. We run construction workers between their parking lots and the job site in 25-passenger shuttle buses. CDL with passenger endorsement required.

Note -on the split day shifts, when available, we often link hours with corporate movements or university field trips.

Those employed in our contract services with the construction crews also qualify to do wedding charters, corporate events, university field trips and private group work. Private, university and corporate business are generally weekdays. Weddings are mostly weekends and evenings. Many of our weekends are already sold out. Our drivers average $50 to $70 an hour- $25 per hour plus guaranteed tips. (We charge for our services and include the tip in the pricing). As a further bonus, drivers also keep any cash tips doled out by happy fathers and mothers of the bridal parties.

Our wedding shuttles, event services and construction crew service all require a commercial Driver’s license (at least a class C with a passenger endorsement). Vehicle sizes are up to 29 passengers and 28 feet in length.

2. The Department of Transportation and Boulder County require drivers to be drug and alcohol free. We do a pre-employment screen and enter the drivers into a consortium pool for random screen selection during the season.

3. Background checks are run (with your consent) and a recent DUI may eliminate you from consideration.

4. We require a Motor Vehicle Record from each applicant. 8 points in 2 years may be a disqualifier with our insurance provider.
