Dental Assistant EDDA Wanted

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled EDDA to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

-Perform EDDA work such as final impressions, fabrication of temporary crowns, place class I-IV fillings,

- Take digital x-rays

- Perform laboratory tasks such as mixing materials for impressions

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

- Maintain accurate patient records using Digital Software (Curve Hero)

- Provide chairside assistance for various dental procedures including limited pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and more

- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety

- Handle dental receptionist duties when needed

Qualifications:

- Certification or diploma from an accredited Dental Assistant program

- X-ray certification preferred

- Proficiency in using dental, digital imaging software

- Knowledge of 3D scanner technology is a plus but not required

- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring

- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques in a dental setting

- Experience with Curve Hero software is highly desirable but not mandatory. (Training provided if needed)

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 34 per week

Experience: Prefer experience placing fillings, trying and seating crowns, and final impressions

Dental assisting: 2 years+ (Preferred)

License/Certification: EDDA
