Accounting Clerk

Description As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.Key Responsibilities:Data Entry:

Input and maintain financial data in the company's accounting software.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial records.

Accounts Payable:

Process and record invoices, bills, and expense reports.

Verify and reconcile discrepancies with vendors.

Accounts Receivable:

Generate and send out invoices to clients.

Monitor and follow up on overdue payments.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.

General Ledger Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining the general ledger.

Post journal entries and adjustments as needed.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports.

Provide support for audits and compliance reviews.

Communication:

Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information.

Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Associate's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
