This is a Permanent Intermittent position. Intermittent positions may work a maximum of 1500 hours per calendar year. The number of hours and schedule of work shall be determined based on the operational needs. A great opportunity for someone who is looking for a part-time job or an opportunity with limited hours!

As an intermittent employee, you earn paid leave and retirement benefits on a pro-rated basis. You will also qualify for health, dental and vision benefits for you and eligible family members once 480 hours are worked in a control period and coverage will be maintained when working the required hours each following control period. (Control Periods = January 1 – June 30th and July 1st through December 31st.

The Health Facility Maintenance program provides individuals training of necessary knowledge and skills needed to meet the highest possible standards of cleaning for healthcare settings and brings healthcare areas of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) to an acceptable level of sanitary conditions. Hourly: $20.49 - $25.64 may receive a $2,600 annual Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Bonus and may receive a $190.00 per month Institutional Worker Supervision Pay (IWSP) Differential
