- Preparation of protein solutions using chromatographic and filtration processes, and preparation of media, buffers, and other solutions for testing
- Set up of supplies and equipment needed for evaluating and testing filter performance with biological feedstreams
- Execute testing with established protocols for assessing filter performance using as-prepared solutions
- Perform all tests and duties with accuracy and good lab practices
- Report experimental results and any deviations from standard experimental protocols to the technical manager
- Perform basic data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or related field, and 1-2 years industrial working experience in related field
- 5-10 years’ experience with no degree
- Experience with HPLC, chromatography, and Akta equipment specifically a plus
- Hands on experience in laboratory research environment
- Significant attention to detail and accuracy in developing, reviewing and following protocols, SOPs, worksheets
