CNC Lathe Operator

The Production Department at Andros Engineering is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a professional metal shop operating a CNC Lathe, Plasma Cutter, and Manual Machines commonly found in metal shops.

REQUIREMENTS:

High attention to detail

Work independently to manage time, schedule and prioritization with input from supervisor

Effectively communicate with engineering and others to problem solve

Ask questions, clarify instructions and take constructive feedback in a professional manner

Accurately read and interpret documentation to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations and setup requirements

Setup and adjustment of tool offsets using a probe.

Adjustment of offsets to meet print dimensions and tolerances.

Inspection of critical dimensions using standard metrology tools.

Ability to recognize tool breakage/need for indexing or changing tools.

Proficiency in manual lathe and mill operations.

Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

Position is hourly with wages based on experience ($25-$35/hr.)
