Registered Dental Assistant/ Dental Assistant

Our pediatric dental practice is seeking a motivated RDA/DA who enjoys working with children and adolescents.

This candidate must have a good work ethic and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities will include:

Keep patients calm and relaxed during dental procedures.

Manage recall appts including coronal polishing, fluoride application and x-rays

Explain to patients the details of any dental procedure that is being performed.

Follow doctor's orders and carry out assigned tasks.

Perform a wide range of duties to assist doctors in the health care delivery process.

Keep patient records and other records up to date.

Sterilize equipment and instruments as required.

Maintain cleanliness of facility and equipment.

Follow infection control rules and safe procedures.

Assist with dental surgery at the hospital and in-house.

We prefer experience, especially with children. We offer competitive hourly rate and benefits (sick pay, paid vacation and 401 K).

Office hours are Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm and may include one to two Fridays mornings a month. Please reply with your resume. We look forward to meeting you!
