Needs Care Near Morro Bay

I’m a middle-aged, female, wheelchair-user who just moved to Los Osos. I need assistance with all activities of daily living. My care is very basic so no medical experience is required. I don’t take any medications and I’m very independent.

The ideal candidate for this job:

- Is physically fit and prioritizes her own personal health

- Can lift 40 pounds

- Is mentally fit/mature enough to understand that my need for personal space is not because of or about you

- Is comfortable with the two males I live with…one is human & one is a cat

- Will pass a criminal background check

- Has her own transportation

- Does not smoke cigarettes

My Caregivers are paid by the IHSS/WPCS programs. They are very easy to register with and I will help you with the process if you're not registered yet. You will need to pass a criminal background check but there are no other requirements. As an "IHSS Provider" in SLO County you get 40-hours of paid sick time per year, 3-years of free community college, some medical and other perks for those who choose to join the union (which I personally recommend.)

To start, I can offer you 16-hours per week. That could turn into 30-hours a week when more become available.
