Medical Assistant / Scribe

Overview

James B. Carr, M.D. specializes in Orthopedic Spine Surgery in Atascadero. We are looking for dedicated, motivated, enthusiastic team player who want to make a difference in the community. Responsibilities

-Supports physician by taking vitals, assisting in medical examinations, scribe in chart during exam and create orders

-Give care and follow-up instructions, health education and materials to patients as instructed by provider

-Completing medical records requests

-Completing medication refill requests

Spanish translation services is a bonus for us

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

We are willing to train the right person. Someone who has integrity, initiative, is reliable and can be a team player.

Experience/familiarity with computers, business e-mail communication systems and internet search capabilities

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 4pm with lunch from 12pm to 1pm

Pay Range

$20.00 - $22.00
