HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT Part-time

Seeking a household assistant for a gentleman who had a stroke and has lost complete mobility. The duties would include picking up and delivering meals, assisting in giving medication, and light house cleaning. The ideal candidate does not need to have extensive caregiving experience, but a basic understanding of assisting in a household, good communication skills, and strong commitment to performing well. He needs very minimal assistance. Compensation depends on experience.

We are looking to cover any of the following shifts, and prefer some availability for coverage of shifts as other caretakers need time off: (if you are only interested in some shifts, but not all, please still apply)

Friday 4:30pm-8:30pm

Saturday 4:30pm-8:30pm

Sunday 6:30am-11:30am

Sunday 4:30pm-8:30pm

Monday 4:30pm-8:30pm

The gentleman was very independent before the stroke and continues to enjoy his space, but also enjoys good conversation. He has a great, sarcastic, funny personality, and prefers someone who will watch TV (especially football) and kind of just hang out. An excellent sense of humor is definitely a plus.
