Gas station attendant/cashier

We provide full service to our gasoline customers and their cars:

1. Checking and filling oil, tires, and wiper fluid

2. Cleaning windshields, windows, and mirrors

3. Recommending oil changes, tire replacements, fluid top offs, wiper blade replacements, ect 4. Providing a friendly and helpful attitude toward our valued customers

5. Filling Propane

This position is responsible for accepting customer payments for gas as well as assisting with station organization, cleanliness and maintenance. This position will report to the Gas Station Retail Site Manager.

Duties include:

1. Greeting customers and answering their questions

2. Assist customers with fueling and "full serve" as noted above

3. Cleaning gas pumps, islands, and any spills

4. Conducting inspections and recording conditions of nozzles, hoses, etc.

5. Operating cash register

6. Counting cash in drawer and performing safe drops

7. Performing inventory and recording as required for shift changes

8. MUST BE WILLING TO MOVE QUICKLY TO HELP CUSTOMERS AND WORK HARD CLEANING and IMPROVING THE FACILITIES.

9. Fueling cars, checking oil and tire pressure, filling propane bottles.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 3 months of cashier experience in a customer service retail environment. Gas station experience is preferred.

2. Must be 18 years of age or above.

3. High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

4. Enjoys cars and eager to learn about them.

Job Type: Full time Tuesday through Saturday from 6AM-2PM. Additional shifts and hours may become available.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour plus tips and commissions
