Company Overview:
As 5th-generation Healdsburg residents and local car enthusiasts, we are an established father-and-son owned automotive repair shop based in Graton, now opening a brand new shop from scratch in Healdsburg. Starting from the Windsor Pick-n-Pull, Friday car meets, and weekend track days at Thunderhill and Sonoma Raceway, our father-and-son team transformed a shared hobby into a thriving automotive business. While we're BMW enthusiasts at heart, we have a passion for all makes and models, leaning heavily towards JDM vehicles. Our 5,000 sq. ft. shop in Graton has grown rapidly, and we're excited to expand our team at our new location in Healdsburg.
We employ former dealer and factory-trained ASE Master Technicians who work alongside graduates from SRJC's trade school, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth. We are an hourly/salaried shop with the intention of owning multiple locations and inviting employees into ownership. This is a long-term growth opportunity for the right mind and personality.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Auto Repair Technician to join our team. This is a growth position for someone already committed to the automotive industry and looking to advance their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work alongside experienced technicians, servicing a wide range of vehicles and tackling diverse repair tasks. All of us have a diverse mix of educational, professional, and personal experiences with vehicles, and so should you. You should know your way around a professional shop, how to operate lifts, how to protect customer cars from damage, and how to clean and organize a workshop before, during and after a repair. We use CRM's, tools and technology that are digitally integrated. We do not handle wheels or tires, or alignment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models.
Assist senior technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards.
Continuously develop technical skills through hands-on experience.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of current experience at a licensed auto repair shop or dealership.
Currently employed at a licensed auto repair shop or dealership.
Basic automotive certifications from SRJC or equivalent trade school.
Strong passion for the automotive industry.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
