AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE WRITER

Midas/Speedee of Dublin experiencing strong growth in our car counts and has an opportunity for an experienced Service Writer. This position will require weekend work and some holidays as work schedule. Candidate must have strong sales and closing skills, be highly motivated, reliable and automotive enthusiast that wants to work in fast paced automotive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers and prepare service invoices to inform technicians of services requested

Prepare customer estimates using computer software and obtain customer approval

Order any parts required for services from established vendors

At the completion of work contact customers, close out invoice and take payments

Answer phones, customer questions and schedule appointments for services requested

Provide exceptional customer service helping build customer loyalty

Maintain showroom and office providing customer with professional image

Meet established personal sales goals monthly

Requirements:

CA drivers license with clean DMV record

Knowledge of computers, able to use Microsoft and proprietary software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Organized and detail oriented
