CSBio is a leading biotech company in the peptide industry, and for over 30 years has been providing pharmaceutical instrumentation to biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic researchers.
We are welcoming a Manufacturing Assembler to join us at our Mountain View site, located a few blocks off the N Shoreline Blvd 101 exit. CSBio's instrumentation team designs and builds products that include peptide synthesizers, DNA synthesizers, and LC purification equipment (learn more here: https://www.csbio.com/synthesizer.html).
Experience and a passion for building and mechanical assembly a strong plus. Prior experience with hand tools a strong plus.
We are looking for an individual to assemble equipment in a manufacturing environment. Job responsibilities include:
Use of hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to work instructions
Assemble raw and custom fabricated materials
Read and understand blueprints, such as process instructions, work orders, and assembly drawings.
Read bill of materials and identify all components specified.
Perform measurement and testing per process instructions and procedures.
Skill/Job Requirements:
High school graduate. Associate degree a plus.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to instructions.
Familiar with using computers to perform instrumentation testing.
Ability to document test results in an organized manner.
Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions
Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; able to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Positive attitude with a strong team player mentality, able to contribute to a positive work environment.
Desire to produce quality products
Experience in a manufacturing environment, assembly environment, or working with tools (handyman, fixing automobiles, etc) a strong plus.
This is an on-site / in-person role.

Full-time hourly position (we work 4.5 days/week. Monday – Thursday 8AM to 5PM, and Friday 8AM to 12PM).
