HVAC Technician Journeyman 3 yr exp req

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible to perform service and repair calls, diagnose problems and provide customers with solutions in both commercial and residential. You will be maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Service new and old heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems

Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Adhere to all safety procedures and policies

Diagnose problems with HVAC systems

Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Communicate with office to keep dispatcher informed of current job status

Maintain your service truck so that it is always neat and clean on the inside and outside

Wear floor savers while in customers home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service

Qualifications:

Heat pump, fan coil and zone control experience a must

Posses HVAC hand tools

Minimum of 3 years experience as a technician

Familiarity in HVAC wiring diagrams

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Must have basic hand and power tools

Adhere to company policies and procedures

EPA Universal Certification (REQUIRED)

Good communication skills

Troubleshooting and Diagnostic skills

Electrical and mechanical repair skills

Clean driving record
