EXCAVATION FOREMAN WANTED

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in local residential construction. We are a non-union company.

Responsibilities

-This is a WORKING foreman position: operate heavy equipment and machinery, such as excavators, and skidsteers

- Plan and direct the digging and removal of earth as part of our construction projects

-Supervise and manage projects from conception to completion

- Conduct quality control checks on construction sites

- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met

- Develop and implement project plans and schedules

Requirements

-10+ years operating experience

-Ability to speak both English and Spanish (or at least able to speak sufficient "job related" Spanish as required to communicate with your team)

-Ability to read and interpret civil and structural plans/drawings

-Ability to establish grade and set pipe

- Ability to maintain a budget and keep to a timeline while ensuring the overall productivity, quality and safety of a project

- Proven experience in management and supervision of excavation projects

- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, techniques, and materials

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
