Journeyman Framer

Immediate opening for a journeyman framer.

Responsibilities:

. Read and interpret blueprints to determine framing specifications.

. Construct and install walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using wood, metal, or engineered materials.

. Measure, cut, and assemble framing components with precision and accuracy.

. Install structural supports such as beams and trusses.

. Ensure all framing work meets building codes and safety standards.

. Collaborate with other tradespeople, foremen, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.

. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

. Journeyman-level experience in framing

. Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and tools.

. Ability to work at heights

. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

. Valid driver’s license

. Reliable transportation.
