Seeking Guitar /string Repair technician

Oakland music store seeking guitar /string repair technician to join our repair crew. Duties are to:

Perform all aspects of string instrument repairs on customer-owned instruments to specifications. Must be knowledgeable with setting instruments up to specs, working with gauges, we get a little of everything in must be able to adapt and figure out different bridges saddles tuners necks etc

Maintain store inventory by providing needed repairs and tuning as needed

Continually build the business through great customer experience by providing consistent, high quality work. Able to handle customer service issues as needed.

Able to enter repair information into the store point of sale system.

Organize, maintain, and manage repair area

Prior experience necessary

Starting salary - $19/hr; Pay based on experience
