Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Installer

We are a small cabinet shop (www.snakecrafted.com) looking for a experienced finish carpenter to join our team. The primary focus of this position is to install cabinets and millwork that we've fabricated in shop, but there would also be some in shop fabrication days which would consist of cabinet assembly, fabrication, etc. Our onsite install locations are located usually in SF and Marin, but we occasionally have work further north in the Sonoma area. Onsite hours are generally 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, in shop hours are 9:00 am - 5:30pm.We are ideally looking for someone to work 3 - 4 days a week, but are potentially open for a different schedule (2 or 5 days a week) for the right person. There is also room for growth within this position.

Requirements:

-3-5 years finish carpentry experience

-Cabinet install experience (must be able to install small cabinets like vanities independently)

-Kitchen cabinet install experience

-Experience working on high-end residential job sites

-Familiarity with basic high end cabinet hardware (we primarily use Blum)

-Own basic hand tools

-Reliable vehicle to commute to job sites and to the shop in San Rafael

-Positive attitude and ability to problem solve

-Cabinet fabrication / furniture fabrication experience not required but a plus

-Experience with pivot pocket door / bifold door / specialty hardware a plus
