Metal Fabricator / Welder

SymFab Metalworks has a great opportunity for an experienced fabricator. We are currently seeking a full time Welder/Fabricator. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is diverse in fabricaton. We do everything from heavy equipment repair to high end architectural work. Being certified with Dual Shield and a T-8 fluxcore wire in all positions is a huge plus. The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for taking a concept to reality using various equipment including welders, shears, grinders, sanders, torch, plasma cutter, bending machine, and saws. Must pay attention to detail. No one applying will have too much experience. Please bring valid copies of your welding certs.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years welding experience as a certified welder in a steel fabrication company.

Must be able to weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Must be willing to work in all weather conditions

Flexible and responsive, with strong teamwork orientation

Ability to operate a forklift

Adhere to all safety regulations and conditions

Pass a welding and finishing test

Be able to layout and do jobs on your own.

The pay rate will depend on the candidate's qualifications, prior work experience, and skill set.
