Project Manager Assistant

The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the construction process, ensuring sites are well-prepared and organized for building and structural work. This position involves a hands-on approach, from managing materials to assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring efficiency and adherence to plans and specifications. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation and timely progress of construction projects, requiring a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual who can multitask and adapt to the dynamic nature of construction sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support the construction of structures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

- Engage in site preparation and cleanup, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

- Collaborate closely with construction managers, providing essential assistance to facilitate project progress.

- Interpret and follow blueprints and design documents to align construction activities with architectural plans.

- Contribute to the installation of essential utilities, including sewer, water, and storm drainage systems.

- Operate a range of construction equipment, including drills, jackhammers, earth tampers, and mixers for concrete, mortar, and plaster, ensuring proper use and safety at all times.

- Play a role in demolition activities, adhering to safety standards and project requirements.

- Manage and transport construction materials, ensuring their availability and proper handling on-site.
