Facilities Plumbing and Drain is hiring Apprentice tech!

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assist experienced plumbers in various tasks, including installing pipes and fixtures, repairing

and replacing faulty pipes, and performing routine maintenance.

 Demonstrates knowledge of plumbing repair and installations and uses good judgment

addressing areas believed to be of immediate concern or potential future concerns.

 Successful candidate will be measured on the performance matrix and expected to perform up

to and exceed the standards attached to employee performance to goal expectations.

 Uses, applies and monitors appropriate safety practices and procedures and reports violations

to Lead Plumber or Plumbing Supervisor.

 Performs plumbing services and repairs consistent with general accepted plumbing standards

and in accordance with Facilities Plumbing and Drain expectations.

 Works independently with little supervision in the completion of assignments with time spent

in the field.

 Maintain a clean and organized work spaces and environment.

 Learn about different types of plumbing systems and how they function.

 Perform tasks as directed by the Lead Plumber or Plumbing Supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent.

 Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

 Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.

 Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

 Ability to handle sensitive information.

 Ability to work with all types of people in varying conditions.

 Ability to work in a team environment.

 Good communication skills.
