Certified Massage Therapist (Scotts Valley AND Watsonville)

Chiropractic office looking to add Certified Massage Therapists for BOTH locations to our team.

We are an established movement based clinic providing Chiropractic and Massage therapy services. Our therapists work together with our doctor to provide the best treatment plan and best care possible to promote and support a healthy and active lifestyle. We have been successful treating pain and injuries, keeping our clients strong and healthy by collaborating and working together to provide a lasting and positive outcome for our clients.

Licenses Required

- Massage Therapy/CMT

- CPR Certification

Pay

- $40-50/hour for massage, $17/hour for admin time

Shift and schedule

- 1-2 shifts initially with opportunity to quickly expand

- Flexible Schedule

- Scotts Valley Room Availability: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

- Watsonville Room Availability: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

Position Requirements

-CAMTC Certified

-Personal liability insurance

-Reliable communication sources and skills

-Knowledge of SOAP notes and completion preferred but training provided

-Minimum Experience of 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage therapy treatments based on individual needs and conditions.

- Administer deep tissue massages and trigger point therapy to alleviate acute pain and promote relaxation.

- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective pain management and improve overall well-being.

- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive and professional experience.

- Maintain CPR certification and adhere to all relevant medical and safety protocols.
