Data Analyst

Ocusun, LLC, in Novato, CA seeks multiple Data Analyst

Responsibilities: Responsible for working with data engineers to enable data visibility and usability for stakeholders across company by creating data pipelines through Fivetran and dbt; architecting and building reporting data models with Looker to monitor company wide and department wide KPIs; documenting and analyzing key operation processes in customer service and providing metrics and reporting strategies to identify process gaps and create improvement plans; leading analytics initiatives with customer service team to improve overall operation health, focusing on return cost reduction; gathering data and input to understand, analyze and outline business strategies and to identify AI/ML use case for customer service operations; using data mining to extract information from customer feedback data and identifying correlations and patterns that summarize complex data into usable, digestible datasets, dashboards, and reports; improving data driven business decisions, including streamlining production processes and eliminating redundancies and inefficiencies in the development process based on data analysis and other predictive analysis; and other duties as assigned. Salary range: $120K - $140K. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Novato, California.

Education: Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related position. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience organizing and transforming information into recommendations of new features and processes to provide a seamless customer experience; 2 years of experience working with SQL, Python, Looker, Tableau, Github, or other BI tools and data systems; and 2 years of experience developing query skills against all kinds of data systems.
