Engineering Manager

Rubrik, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA has multiple openings for tech positions, including Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities: Leading all technical aspects of development including design and delivery processes of Rubrik data management and protection capabilities of Rubrik’s complex proprietary cloud management system; develop highly efficient and feature-rich solutions for protection and management of enterprise data coming from various sources; develop APIs with source-specific intelligence for efficiently gathering data; maintain SaaS services in production and improve their stability, scale, and performance to meet business needs; help employees grow in their career development and guide senior contributors to maximize their potential; provide a clear path for progression through employees’ personal development plans, defining goals, performing employee evaluations, and collaborating with employees on their objectives; may supervise 6-12 employees with job titles such as Member of Technical Staff and Software Engineer; other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Palo Alto, California.

Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 3 years of experience in the job offered or related position. Other special requirements include: 3 years of experience working with Java, Python, C, or similar programming languages; 3 years of experience working with large scale distributed systems; 3 years of experience using SaaS applications; 3 years of experience with software development lifecycles including: full stack, front end, or backend; and 3 years of experience managing a software engineering team.

Rate of Pay: $240,000.00 - $280,000.00
