IMMEDIATE HIRING - Unarmed Security Officer

IMMEDIATE HIRING: Unarmed Security Officer - PART TIME.

LOCATION: Retail environment in the Haight Ashbury District of City of San Francisco.

HOURS: Retail store business hours (11am – 8pm). Friday through Sunday. WEEKENDS REQUIRED.

JOB TITLE: Unarmed Security Officer

HOURLY RATE RANGE: $25, based on qualification and experience.

Responsibilities:

· Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence or infractions of rules.

· Thoroughly examine doors, windows and gates to ensure proper function and security.

· Ensure the safety of all employees and customers.

· Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.

· Escort or expel unwanted visitors engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.

· Report any facility issues or emergencies.

· Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.

· Management of guest entering the store including directing guest to check in large bags to from theft.

· Monitor the store to ensure guests and employees have a safe shopping experience.

· Interaction with clients, employees, visitors and public safety officials.

Qualifications:

· Valid California BSIS Guard License.

· Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military or other related fields.

· Ability to read and write English effectively.

. Ability to stand for an extended period.

· Overall sharp presentation. Good hygiene and grooming standards.

· Ability to take instructions and adhere to rules and policies.

· Familiarity with security equipment.

· Ability to handle physical workload.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to de-escalate volatile situations.

· Reliable method of transportation.

· Excellent customer service.

· Must be able to multitask.
