Apartment Groundskeeper and Landscaper

Full- Time Groundskeeper/ Landscaper

We are seeking a full-time Groundskeeper/ Landscaper who is responsible for the daily upkeep of the apartment community, including all buildings, common areas, office areas and perform a range of duties, which may include painting, cleaning, and removing items from vacated apartments. The Groundskeeper/ Porter will report directly to the Community Manager. Candidates must be able to balance and serve all roles to be considered.

Job Responsibilities

Vacuum, Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors

Empty and clean trash containers

Clean laundry rooms, clubrooms and office

Wipe down glass surfaces

Wash windows as scheduled

Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition

Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed

Grounds keeping duties will include:

Mowing, edging, pruning, planting, weeding

Be able to use and maintain landscaping equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers).

Knowledge of irrigation system checks and seasonal cleanups.

Ensure properties are clean, manicured, and debris-free.

Using a leaf blower to maintain the streets and landscaping

Trash pick-up throughout the community and moving trash bins for pick-up

Painting of interior and exterior common areas and light maintenance

COMPENSATION: starting at $23/hr DOE
