Maint. Tech Needed for 58 unit Apartment Community - Must live Onsite

Job description

The Grupe Management Company is searching for a dynamic Maintenance Technician to live onsite at our Antioch, CA community. The community is 58 units and was built in 2019. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, on-call as needed for emergencies. A 1-bedroom apartment is also included, along with pay.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years professional experience as an apartment maintenance technician. Candidates must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, the ability to maintain a professional and friendly relationship with tenants, and the aptitude to complete work orders and other responsibilities in a timely efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

- Completion of work orders which may include minor appliance repair, plumbing, sheetrock work, painting, minor electrical work and carpentry.

- Completion of turns which may include prep work, sheetrock repairs, painting, appliance replacement, door replacements, electrical trouble-shooting/repairs, screen repairs, etc.

- Groundskeeping

- Ordering and Vendor Scheduling

-MUST LIVE ONSITE

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience or similar profession

- Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation

- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
