CNC Operator / Set-Up Machinist Job Duties:

-Maintains specifications by observing drilling, and cutting, taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

-Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

-Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions and shop supervisor instruction

-Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

-Documents actions by completing production travelers.

CNC Machinist Skills and Qualifications:

-Conceptual Skills, Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Controls and Instrumentation, Supply Management, Tooling, Coordination, Attention to Detail, Judgment, Must be able to take direction, follow set of instructions

Compensation: $25-30/hr

Job Requirements:

-Must have High School Diploma

-Must be authorized to work in the USA (Verification of employment eligibility through E-Verify)

-1-2 years’ experience setting up CNC Mill or Lathe

-Must be able to read a drawing or blueprint

-Must be able to speak, read and write English

-Must be able to lift 50lbs.

-We are looking for a skilled machine operator and set up machinist that is reliable and easy to work with, have a positive attitude, and have good communication and organizational skills. This person should be capable of high-precision work, while acting as a team player. Day shift employees work Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM
