Groomers assistant

The Whole Kitten Capoodle is looking for a full-time or part-time bather/dryer starting wage at 16.50 per hour plus tips (typically 100-200 per week)during the training process (negotiable with previous professional experience) and will increase after training. Schedule will usually be 9am-3pm, but it depends on grooming appointments scheduled. Must have experience with dogs & cats. Previous experience professionally bathing/drying is a bonus but not required. Responsibilities include bathing/drying cats & dogs, cleaning ears/expressing anal glands, helping clean the salon, cleaning up after pets. You must be patient with animals & clients, reliable, not squeamish, have transportation to get to & from work, and be able to lift up to 65 pound dogs. Please be aware that the job is very physical & you will be working with dogs that are anxious & difficult.
