Summary

As a Journeyman Painter, you will do industrial and commercial painting projects, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. With core skills in OSHA compliance, and completing construction painting tasks efficiently. Additionally, your relevant skills in blueprint reading and quality control will contribute to the precision and excellence of the painting process. Qualifications:

· Valid CA driver’s License

· Reliable Transportation

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

· Must have 8,000 hours experience in trade

· Ability to clock in and out on your phone with provided application.

· Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and reach.

· Proficient in commercial and industrial painting.

· Familiar with personal protective equipment

· Mechanically inclined; familiar with hand tools, power tools and sprayers

Preferred Skills:

· Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers and sealers.

· Must be proficient in spraying, roll and brush.

· Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites.

· Removes old paint coatings if necessary.

· Mix colors or oils to obtain desired color and consistency.

· Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.

· Cleans up worksite debris.

· General construction experience a plus

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints for painting requirements

· Understanding of OSHA regulations for safety compliance

· Experience with quality control processes in painting project

Responsibilities:

· Working on various commercial & some residential projects and will be performing a variety of tasks.

· Touch up repairs and service calls.

· Help build a zero-accident culture.

· Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites.

· Removes old paint coating, if necessary.

· Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.

· Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.

· Cleans up worksite debris.

· Provide support for the other trades in our organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
