Job Title: Driver - Class B

Reports To: Store Manager

Hourly Pay Range: Starts at $30 or more Dependent on Experience

Starting pay will depend on knowledge, skills, ability and the city that this open position is located.

We are in search of skilled Drivers that have the ability to function well as part of a team. You must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our clientele efficiently.

We seek highly motivated and experienced Drivers with a background in construction and industrial equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas and diesel machinery is preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

Must hold a valid California Commercial Class B Driver License

Previous Class B or Class A Driving experience

Positive attitude

Ability to navigate efficiently

Strong customer service orientation

Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

Able to function well as part of a team

Diligent attention to detail and safety

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely transport equipment to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner

Demonstrate use of rental equipment to customers

Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections

Follow all Cresco Operational Procedures

Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory

Maintain the service and appearance of truck

Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Dispatcher and Manager

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or any Cresco Manager

Education, Experience and Required Skills, Including Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid California driver's license Class B or A

Acceptable DOT drug test history

Knowledge of state regulations regarding height and weight maximums and winch operations

OSHA familiarity/training

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and chaining down equipment

Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal/s on equipment and trucks

Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 70 lbs

Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes
