HANDYMAN / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NEEDED

We are seeking a Full-Time maintenance professional for maintenance and repair of our Homeowner Associations in Alameda as assigned by the Association Manager in the common area as well as in individual units when the work is the Association’s responsibility

This position entails reporting daily to management office for work order instructions. Requires direct contact with customers and vendors. Work is primarily 9:00 to 5:00 but available for “on-call” emergency after hours calls (OT paid).

Must be able to communicate well, function with minimal supervision, have prior experience, strong work ethic, trustworthy, honest, meet tight deadlines, perform quality work.

This position is responsible for property maintenance as well as repairs/improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

Must have most, if not all the following skills:

Troubleshooting problems (Leaks, etc.)

Cleaning

Sheetrock repairs & Paint

Door & Lock repairs

Light Plumbing

Light Carpentry

Light Mechanical

Light Landscaping

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be neat, have enthusiasm and desire for excellence

Prior experience

Excellent communication skills

Working cell phone is required for daily communication and dispatch purpose along with punching in and out to be paid.

Reliable transportation (Pickup or van)

Excellent employer references

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

No criminal record

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Starting salary up to $25/hr. depending on experience.

Reimbursement for mileage.
