Part-Time Experienced Dental Assistant

Position Title: Dental Assistant (DA)

Our established private practice dental office is looking for an experienced and energetic part-time Dental Assistant. We are looking for a friendly and motivated person to be a part of our team and care for our patients. The position would be up to 3 days, Monday-Wednesday.

Benefits include accrued sick leave.

Duties include:

- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort

- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed

- Sterilize instruments

- Assisting through 4-handed dentistry

- Undertake lab tasks as instructed

- Keep the dental operatory clean and well-stocked

Skills include:

- Proven experience as DA for one year.

- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

- Ability to take impressions

- Experience with Dentrix a plus

- Excellent communication and people skills

- Attention to detail

- Well-organized and reliable
