Registered Dental Hygienist

Boulder Creek Dental is currently looking for a dental hygienist to join our practice. Dr. Johnson has been practicing at BCD for over 20 years. Our office is open Monday-Thursday, we are flexible with the hours and days you want to work. Our office is very much like a family. We have a very friendly and relaxed office environment with beautiful views of the Santa Cruz mountains. New graduates encouraged to apply. We have new hygiene instruments and a dedicated x-ray assistant as needed.

Hygienist Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning

Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions

Proficient in developing hard copy x-ray film when needed and digital x-rays

Qualifications:

Registered Dental Hygienist

Excellent interpersonal skills

Dependable

Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care

Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, and equipment including hard copy x-ray film when needed and digital x-rays

License/Certification:

X-Ray Certification (Required)

Proficient in developing hard copy x-ray film when needed and digital x-rays

Position includes paid sick days and vacation days.
