Compensation: $20-$22/hr DOE + Tips - line cooks earn average of $60 - $80/night

- We are looking for cooks interested in learning about handmade and extruded pasta, house-made salumi production, pizza technique, bread and dough making, wood fire cooking, and many other techniques in a high volume setting from Chefs with experience at the best restaurants in the world.

- We source produce from many extraordinary local farms and will work to expand your product knowledge base. We will have access to a garden in Sonoma County where we will grow select produce for the restaurant and will work to have interested parties participate in cultivation and harvest.

About us:

Che Fico Pizzeria is the newest outlet in the Che Fico family of restaurants opening October 2024.

The original Che Fico is located in the NoPa neighborhood and is a California-Italian restaurant. The flagship location opened in Spring of 2018 and was shortly thereafter named one of Bon Appetit's Hot 10 New Restaurants. The restaurant features handmade pasta, pizza, salumi, wood-fired meats and other dishes utilizing local California ingredients as if the Bay Area were a region of Italy. Che Fico has a robust craft cocktail program, as well as a very developed wine and beverage program highlighting California and Italy.

Che Fico Pizzeria is located in Thrive City, directly adjacent to the Chase Center. This location will be fun, fast-paced, and community oriented. While pizza will of course be the focus, we will also feature a dynamic menu including antipasti and sandwiches, as well as fabulous gelato! Che Fico Pizzeria is first and foremost a San Francisco restaurant and it will establish itself as a member of the community through warm hospitality and a generous spirit.

About you:

Candidates should be outgoing, positive and have a strong background in hospitality, as well as a passion for learning and growth. They should provide exceptional guest experiences and continually strive to exceed guests expectations with every opportunity. We are looking for a strong leader on the floor who can provide guidance and coaching to our dining room team. The assistant manager role will be responsible for leading line ups, providing support on the floor during service as well as upholding our service standards. Outside of service responsibilities will include weekly manager meetings, scheduling, and work towards cultivating a healthy team dynamic.

Experience is a major bonus, however we will gladly accept applicants with a strong background in the service industry who are excited to take on a new role. We are growing quickly as a company and seeking individuals who would like to grow with us.
