Daytime Server Friday/Saturday/Sunday DAY SHIFTS

Copita Tequileria y Comida is a vibrant neighborhood restaurant that opened in 2023 in Willow Glen (San Jose) on the corner of Lincoln Ave and Willow St. We serve seasonal, modern Mexican food and offer over 100 tequilas and mezcals, along with an innovative cocktail and beverage program. Copita is open for lunch and dinner daily and brunch on weekends. We offer indoor and outdoor seating on two levels and a 30-seat rooftop private dining room. We are seeking Daytime Servers for Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts (must be able to work ALL THREE DAYS) during the daytime. May lead to night shifts depending upon availability and ability.

We are looking for more than just an order taker, must be outgoing, genuine, want to learn and love serving people! Enthusiasm for the industry a MUST. Experience with authentic Mexican food, cocktails and wines is preferred.

Server duties include:

Walk guests through the menu to answer any questions and assist with any necessary accommodations for allergies and dietary restrictions.

Check back with guests about each dish and beverage and when beverages need to be refreshed.

Have proficiency in Toast POS System to ring in orders, course, fire, print, and settle guest checks.

Maintain consistent and proactive communication with the manager regarding guest experience to resolve any dissatisfaction.

Communicate effectively and respectfully with all service team members, both front and back of the house.

Always maintain a positive and team-oriented demeanor.

Applicants must have 2-3 years high-volume ($3+ million/year sales) restaurant experience to be considered and must be available to work the daytime weekend shifts. Free meals, discounted dining, health insurance and many other benefits are available to full-time and part-time employees.
