With a history rooted in serving the community, Harrington's has been a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. Our food program was designed by Rupert and Carrie of Lord Stanley in Russian Hill, and continues to evolve with the seasons.

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As the Lead Line Cook, you will work closely with our Kitchen Manager, supporting daily kitchen operations and contributing to our menu's creativity and excellence.

Currently, this is a Monday - Friday position. Kitchen hours are Monday and Friday 11am - 8pm, Tuesday - Thursday 11am - 9pm.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook high-quality American pub food

- Assist in menu development and costing

- Ensure consistent food presentation and quality

- Support as Expo when the Kitchen Manager is absent

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

- Help train current staff

- Collaborate with the team to bring creative ideas to the table

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a line cook in a similar setting

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Creativity and a passion for food innovation

- Experience with menu development and costing is a bonus

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Flexibility to work during operating hours, with the possibility of working weekends in the future

- English first language preferred, conversational/fluent in Spanish preferred
