Temporary Restaurant Manager - Havana Walnut Creek

Havana in Walnut Creek is Hiring a Temporary Restaurant Manager. We are looking to cover a 4 month period. 5 shifts per week.

We have a manager taking maternity leave September - November. This position would begin the first week of August for training.

Starting Pay is a salary based at $35 per hour plus complimentary food each shift.

We are open for Dinner every night and Brunch Saturday and Sunday

Sample Schedule

Monday 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Tuesday 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Wednesday 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm or 5:00pm -12:00

Sunday 9:00am - 5:00pm or 5:00pm - 12:00

We are flexible on Some shifts and can create a 4 - 5 shift a week schedule that works for you. Saturday and Sunday you must be available for either a Brunch or Dinner shift.

Assistant Manager/Manager Job Description :

-Manage a staff of up to 20 employees each shift

-Train, coach, and develop employees

-Visit tables and engage with customers

-Provide friendly, and accurate service

-Ensure product quality, store cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met

-Manage daily labor and breaks

-Manage staff cash handling, server check out and side work

-Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers

-Possess a positive attitude

-Ability to manage a fast-paced, customer-focused restaurant

-Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
