Seeking Full-Time Porter at La Cocina Commercial Kitchen

We're Hiring!

La Cocina is hiring a porter for our NEW HYDE STREET KITCHEN in the TENDERLOIN neighborhood.

This is a Full-Time, Hourly, non-exempt position that consists of heavy duty cleaning, light maintenance and general handyperson duties.

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday nights, 8 hour per shift.

General job duties include:

Facility maintenance: minor facility and equipment repairs

Janitorial: Daily and weekly deep cleaning of shared kitchen, storage, restrooms, floors trash area and building exterior and shared kitchen equipment.

Basic equipment and building maintenance

Dishwashing: Daily cleaning of dishwashing area.

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills

Able to communicate in both English and Spanish preferred

Pay rate: $25 / hour
