Sushi Chef/ Server

We are hiring experienced, talent sushi chef/ Omakase Chef (must have experience, excellent knife skills, and have experience with fish butchery) to join our team.

Working 32 hours or more per week (mostly dinner shift /and weekend lunch shift)

Must be knowledgeable about the job and capable working in the fast pace environment. Must be responsible and have some multi tasking skills preferred.

And we are hiring experienced server for Tuesday to Thursday dinner shifts and Thursday & Friday lunch and Saturday dinner shift (experience and disciplines needed, know how to serve and provide great, courtesy customer service. And always approach customers with a smile. Must be knowledgeable about the job and capable working in the fast pace environment). Must be responsible and have some multi tasking skills preferred. Always keep clean for the dining room area hygiene and complete restocking duties before the end of the shift.

Working 32 hours or more per week

And we are also hiring poke bowl maker for our other location in the Marina Cow Hallow on Octavia St between Union St.

Job descriptions:

Poke Bowl maker, kitchen helper positions

Must be able to handle cash register, collect payments.
- Ability to work both fast and accurately
- Availability to work during business hours, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and night time hours.
- Flexibility to take on various shifts
- Always approach customers with a smile and help to create a great atmosphere.

- Perform dishwasher and assist sushi chef if needed .

Responsibilities

Cold food / vegetable Preparation Serving customers over the counter Filling up the service counter Washing prep bowls Providing an extraordinary guest experience Greeting customers & anything that gets the business going


Qualifications

Ability to listen and communicate effectively Able to multitask efficiently Strong organizational skills Experience as a Server, Waitress, or Waiter a plus

- Must be able to do preparation for poke bar, simple sushi and rolls, Japanese food/ and light bites as well as food preparation, chopped vegetable, refill all sauces and toppings, maintain a clean poke bar and food preparation area for the whole time.

- Must be able to lift 35 to 50 lb.

- Perform cleaning, sanitation work, sweeping and mopping for the entire restaurant.
