Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your main duties will include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean work area.

Duties:

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand

- Ensure that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or chopping ingredients

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors

- Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste according to proper procedures

- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dirty dishes from dining areas

- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety guidelines is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
