City of Daly City Recreation Services looking for Youth Professionals

City of Daly City’s Department of Recreation Services is looking for Youth Professionals (Recreator I and Recreator III) to support the Afterschool Youth Recreation Program on six different Elementary/Middle Schools throughout Daly City, California.

Youth Professionals would be hired to support quality programming for students ages 4-14 years old. Quality programming includes but not limited to: enrichment, homework support, art, dance, science, math, recreation, sports, and crafts. Youth professionals would be responsible to supervise and actively engage students within a 20:1 ratio (student to staff) creating a fun, safe learning environment.

Hours of operation is from school dismissal till 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Active work time including prep, program, and clean-up is approximately 3.5 - 5.5 hours daily.

Youth Professionals are hired as Part-Time Employees, up to 20-30 weekly, $17.00-$24.00 per hour.
