PRESCHOOL TEACHER OR ASSISTANT TEACHER - Full or Part Time

PROGRAM

Our early childhood education program serves children ages 2 to 5 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibility of the teacher or assistant teacher is to facilitate head teachers and the director of the school to establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children. As part of the teaching team, the he/she will be responsible for maintaining a nurturing and purposeful program. He/she will coordinate with other staff members to implement the curriculum, prepare materials, develop portfolios, and contribute to the team.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Potential candidates shall have a minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a preschool setting, have the ability to lift a child of 40 pounds, completion of 6-12 core early childhood education units from an accredited college, have good communication and problem solving skills, and show a positive and professional attitude.
