Who We Are-

Holistic ABA is a progressive ABA company that prioritizes supporting persons with developmental disabilities through a holistic, person-centered, and trauma informed lens. Our mission is to provide behavioral therapy that honors the strengths, complexities, and individuality of every client we work with.

Our team is made of professionals from all different backgrounds in order to bring the most well-rounded and evidence based care to our clients. We are looking for people who embody the belief that all human beings are deserving of compassion, support, and the opportunity to grow into their best selves. If you resonate with these values and are passionate about serving others from a holistic perspective, then we would love to hear from you!

Job Overview-

The Behavioral Consultant is the front line staff in delivering effective ABA therapy services to clients and their caregivers. All services that the Consultant provides take place in the client's home, school, daycare, day program or out in the community. The Behavioral Consultant creates their work schedule based on the client’s availability and intervention needs, and is responsible for tracking and managing their hours. This is a highly independent job! The Behavioral Consultant often coordinates with the client, client’s circle of support (caregivers, other service providers, etc.) and the Consultant’s supervising BCBA to ensure the client’s intervention program is progressing appropriately and is in alignment with the client’s needs.

Specific responsibilities listed below:

Job Responsibilities;

Development and Monitoring Client’s Interventions: Collaborate with the BCBA to develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the client's specific needs, environmental contexts, and goals.

Data Collection and Analysis: Collect behavioral and skill progress data in every client session. Analyze data with the support of the BCBA to determine the progress and direction of the client's program. Report data to BCBA and support with report preparation.

Supervision and Training: Regularly meet with the BCBA to coordinate and collaborate on the client’s progress and intervention needs. Participate in training opportunities to bolster your ability to provide evidence based treatment to clients.

Program Support and Session Preparation: Create session materials (lesson plans, reward charts, household checklists, etc.) in collaboration with the BCBA and other Consultants to tailor sessions to the client’s specific interests and needs.

Documentation & Professional Development: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all interventions, progress notes, and data collection. Stays up-to-date on current best practices in ABA therapy, trauma informed care, and mindfulness techniques by attending regular staff training.

Schedule:

Client sessions generally occur within the regular M-F business week, with some elective weekend shifts available. Behavioral Consultants are responsible for managing their own schedule in accordance with their clients’ availability, and the clients program needs.

Evening availability (3pm-8pm) is a huge plus, as our clients often have daytime obligations.

We serve clients in Sonoma and Marin County.
