We are seeking an engineer to join our Engineering team and work on applications and microservices that will be used in the factory automation for NVIDIA Inference Microservices (NIMs). As a Software Engineer AI Solutions at NVIDIA, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of AI optimization and inferencing.What you'll be doing:
Developing and deploying microservices in Python and Go. Building and optimizing containers for a variety of applications, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Using container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to efficiently manage and deploy containerized applications.
Enhancing microservices for cloud environments through the utilization of tools like Terraform, Ansible, and other proven methodologies.
Ensuring the performance and scalability of NIMs by designing and implementing comprehensive performance systems. Creating and analyzing monitored system and application metrics using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Identifying potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment, ensuring a streamlined and reliable process.
What we need to see:
A history of using advanced programming skills to build distributed and compute systems, backend services, microservices, and cloud technologies.
Mentorship and the ability to grow teams and team members. Curiosity to learn and grow your skills and career.
Deep technical expertise in distributed containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Endpoints, Helm, and Prometheus.
Passion for building scalable and performant microservice applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead multi-functional efforts involving engineers, principals and architects across organizational boundaries
Proven experience debugging and analyzing the performance of distributed microservices or cloud systems.
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (BS or MS) or equivalent experience.
3-5+ years of professional experience in developing performant microservices, cloud software, and/or tooling roles.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:Do you have prior experience large-scale full-stack development? Be ready to discuss how you delivered event-driven applications using services such as Temporal, Kafka, Redis, or others; including the pros and cons of these choices?
