Sr. Android Engineer

Description We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to join our team dedicated to enhancing our company's flagship mobile app. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in developing innovative features, contributing to research efforts, and embracing emerging technologies and methodologies. Your contributions will directly impact millions of people. Location: Santa Clara, CA This is a Hybrid Role Duration: This position is for 6-month contract with an option to extend or permanent as permanent. Requirements Responsibilities: Spearhead the development and implementation of new features with a strong ownership mentality. Develop and maintain shared components. Analyze and optimize UI for efficiency and performance. Actively propose new feature ideas and identify opportunities for enhancement. Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Work alongside a global team of Android engineers to address the diverse needs of international students, adhering to enterprise standards. Utilize a robust tech stack including Kotlin, Coroutines, Dependency Injection (DI), Jetpack, Compose, RoomDB, GraphQL, unit testing, and more. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years' experience building Android applications using Kotlin. Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a knack for coding excellence. Proficiency in navigating the entire technology stack, from UI development to system-level operations. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. A proactive and positive attitude towards challenges and opportunities.
