Construction Superintendent

Local high end general contractor looking for experienced superintendent to join our team to supervise larger projects, including custom homes and high end remodels. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must in this position.

Looking for an experienced superintendent who can plan and manage their time well, uphold high standards on the job site, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Coordination and supervision of all construction activities, including direction and problem solving among 30+ subcontractors and vendors on a job

Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution

Directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications

Maintain construction schedule

Must be able to read Blueprints

Schedule inspections as necessary throughout the building process

Physically lift up to 50lbs and have endurance and ability to visit entire jobsite, including stairs or other elevated structures

Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees

Manage difficult or emotional situations with customers on the rare occasion they arise

Supervise the completion of final punch lists

Promote job site safety, encouraging safe work practices and rectifying job site hazards immediately
