Retail Store Manager-Feed & Pet Supply

We are a locally owned and operated, multi-location, feed and pet supply retail company on the Central Coast with a 52-year reputation that we strive to uphold every day!

Lemos Feed & Pet Supply is looking for a full-time store manager.

It Averages 36-41 hours per week at our Carpinteria location. You must be available 7 days per week without restrictions to qualify. The normal weekly schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in management in a customer-focused industry. Experience managing all the following categories of business are required:

Staff: Training, directing, delegating, evaluating and basic conflict resolution.

Customer Engagement, Experience & Satisfaction: Upholding high company and personal standards. Creatively and tactfully addressing shortcomings in a timely manner.

Store Operations: Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met; from sales to housekeeping.

Inventory: Cycle counting, rotation & expiration management, on-shelf appearance, special orders, and basic merchandising.

Facilities: Safety, upkeep, and work order systems.

The environment is customer centric and fast paced. This position is hands-on. Much of the job is assisting customers in making decisions about products for their pets, big and small. You must be able to lift carry and load up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis. The remainder of the job is managing store staff and executing on the company expectations of a clean, orderly, well stocked and well-run retail store.

Payday is weekly on Friday.

36-41 hours per week.
