Garage conversion?ADU specialist wanted

We are looking to get permits to get our garage converted into a living space.

We need someone who has a lot of experience with what precisely needs to be added, improved, or changed in order to make it legal with the city of Santa Barbara.

We will need references from people for whom you were able to successfully get this done.

PS: This is a very small project. Garage is finished for the most part. We only need someone that can tell us what the city will require as far as legalizing the place.
